Design Process
From the sketch to the final product!
First I hit the drawing pad and sketch out a rough layout of how I want the page to look and fill it in with some sketches. I scan it onto my computer and bring it into Adobe Photoshop. In this program, I use my sketch as a reference and fill in grey boxes for each pannel to use as a mask for the final page. Although I had a color scheme in mind, before bringing this into the digital realm, I was able to experiment more with the colors while in Photoshop. Lastly, I outline each box once I have finalized all my illustrations and export them for print!

Character Sketches
Below are some of my first sketches and descriptions of the characters seen in my story
This photo includes my first draft of all the main characters I had in mind. It also includes what I wanted the cover to look like.
This sketch started it all. I love the idea of aliens abducting cows and have always wondered what the aliens do with them when they're in outer space.
Since I am playing off of many story tropes, I thought it'd be best to portray an evil, money-hungry, CEO with a menacing mustache and bland clothes.
